This page describes how submissions to Share Your Story and Contact are handled. It is not a substitute for legal advice, and you should have it reviewed by an attorney before relying on it — particularly given that this site sometimes names identifiable public figures.
Story submissions and contact messages are collected through a third-party form service and delivered to a small trusted team for review. We collect only what you choose to enter into the form — name or pseudonym, contact information, and your account.
Nothing submitted through this site is published automatically. Every submission is reviewed before any part of it appears publicly, and you choose how — or whether — you are identified. You may withdraw or edit your submission at any time by contacting us.
Submissions are visible to the site's editor and any collaborators explicitly given access to the review queue. They are not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose beyond this project's editorial review.
